Drop-In is a mobile service operator that provides you with a personalized experience for managing your plan data and making online payments. With Drop-In, you have greater control over your mobile service and can easily manage your account from your mobile device.

Challenge

My challenge was to design a user-friendly mobile application that allows users to easily access and manage their mobile phone plan information in under two hours. Specifically, the app needed to provide detailed information on data usage, available minutes, and messages, and allow users to make online payments directly through the app.

Requirements

To successfully meet the requirements of this challenge, it was crucial to consider the needs of my target audience and focus on creating a mobile application with a seamless user experience and an intuitive design. The application must allow users to easily access their client and phone number information, view their available minutes and messages, track their data usage, and make secure online payments directly through the app.

As a user of a mobile carrier company, I would like to be able to view the remaining minutes and messages of my plan in the app, so that I can keep better control of my monthly bill.

As a user of a mobile carrier company, I want to have access to advanced data usage stats in the app, so that I can see how I'm spending my data every month.

As a user of a mobile carrier company, I want to be able to pay my monthly bill in the app so that I don't have to go to a physical establishment.

The target audience for this mobile application is users between the ages of 18 and 36.

  • When do I need to pay my cell phone bill, and is it completely secure?

The problem

The problem is that most mobile phone apps designed to track data usage are difficult to use and understand. They do not provide advice on how to improve data usage, and the online payment process can be complicated and insecure.

The answer is to create an online operator that estimates your data usage based on your smartphone and mobile hotspot usage. This operator could serve as a personal adviser, offering advice on how to make better use of your data and providing a secure platform for paying your monthly bill.
